Canon quality begins with the 10x optical zoom lens with image stabilization, for perfect results under all conditions, while its DIGIC DV processor processes both movies and still images separately with no compromise on quality.MV6i MC can be operated in full-auto mode, Super Night Mode and manual operation for maximum creativity. Its allows older home movies to be preserved in DV format or edited together with DV movies made on the MV6i MC.

Standard on the MV6iMC is Direct Print Mode, enabling the user to produce high-quality prints using a Canon Card Photo Printer CP-10 or Canon Bubble Jet Direct Photo Printer without a PC, and the range of optional accessories, including wide and telephoto converter lenses, adds extra versatility to its repertoire.
